Busy and tough month

It's been a really tough month ever since my last update. Army life's been really hectic and i almost gave up at some point. But all's good now, hope it'll get better.

I need remain on my goal of being an artist and not get distracted by army. The character is something I did today for CHOW (character of the week for conceptart.org) and the conductor is a shirt design i did some time ago for my dad. It looks plain but i'm not sure if it'll work on a real shirt or not.

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;

Cute Furry Monster for Chiu-Stream today, but not really good this time. took me 20 mins to sketch out something decent. But glad i painted! :)

GameArtisans.org's Comicon Challenge

Its been a while but here's some stuff I've done for the recent Comicon challenge on gameartisans.org. I chose Doctor Strange as my character to paint.

I did not manage to finish it again but I've learnt a great deal about painting during this project. Hope i can complete 1 finished digital painting soon.

Here's just a portion for progress on the newborn and I'm seriously having troubles with the legs!

I guess i'm been doing so much practise for the upper body that i completely forgot about the legs :/
So its all legs or full body for my anatomy practises from now on!!

I did some basic rendering exercises instead and this set of characters were done a couple of days before.

And I chose 1 to develop further. Will be continuing to work more on it.
